Reboot

This New Year’s I’m doing something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and giving this blog a reboot. I’ve explored so many topics here over the past five(+) years, and I’d like to re-explore them – and also refocus and refine.  I hope this symbolic purging will help spur me to start posting again…the blog will be empty if I don’t, and I hate that thought.

WV glass and sparkly wineWe toasted this New Year with inexpensively-priced domestic non-vintage sparkling wine. And even though I have champagne flutes, we drank out of antique WV glass we got as gifts at our wedding (over 5 yrs ago now).

We also had Tuaca (I did get photos, but then we’d be having a “look at my glassware!” post), and watched some of the neighbors’ fireworks (our cats all hid, proof they’re all colorblind) and then I got verrrry tipsy (or I’d have posted this last night as intended). So woots for starting off the New Year right!

Anyway, here’s a wish for all of you: A new start, with new messages, and as writers more eloquent than myself have suggested for this year, new mistakes.

Happy New Year, 2012 edition!
