good news day
Just a fabulous blog entry by Scott Adams, the guy who creates Dilbert. Nice to overcome overwhelming obstacles, at least for a day.

From the people at Wired; I thought they were fun. They got a surprising number of authors to join in the fun:

So I just downloaded trillian. It’s been forever since I actually had a chat program. My chat username for yahoo and aol is “erinlovesthis”. Do you chat? And if so, what program do you use? I’m curious.
Bear in mind we had no professional photographer, so all our photos are fabulously taken by our friends. (Jesse took over 150 photos.) So these are thanks to my mom, my brother, Kaija, Jesse, Renee, and Michelle. (Gwen, Mary, Ivy and Al also took lots of great photos for us–once I get them all I may have to upload some others!)

Yes, I did in fact drive in my wedding dress. Mom drove us to the bar that night so we could drink.
Some ceremony pictures:

I love the pics people took of us on the landing next to the winery:

Since the ceremony was over we could kick back and relax (heh):

(“Bride with beer” says Sean…) Actually this may be pre-ceremony, I’m not sure–I didn’t hide pre-ceremony, so it’s hard to tell. (Sean’s hair is tied back, which makes me think pre.)
And Michelle got a great pic of us walking back up from the vineyard, a photo idea that made sure I was picking insects out of the lace for the next half-hour, including a rather distraught cricket:

I hope someone got some pictures of the car after it was decorated, that was fabulous.
We were very lucky so many friends could make it:
