Induction Day 1
Well, it appears that the assessment of where I was from weeks ago may have been overly optimistic. I am somewhat effaced (most everyone else has said 50%) but that’s it. Basically my body is not at all ready for labor. So we’re going with a very slow induction — this should take several days. So no baby immediately, but we are working on it: more news as I have it and can access the Internet.

I really hope you don’t have to spend several days in the hospital while you’re being induced!
Yeah they need to monitor how baby takes it. Too bad, it seemed like maybe labor starting last night (but wasn’t).
So they think probably a couple or few days (then of course recovery), but still could be any time. At least I have laptop and wifi!
That’s pretty aggravating, jello notwithstanding.
Well thank heavens for small wonders. Wifi sounds like a small blessing when your stuck in the hospital.
Good Luck! You are in our thoughts.
If you’re at Ruby, lemme know if you want someone to stop by and say “HI” though I understand if you DON’T!
Ditto to Michelle’s sentiment. I’d be happy to come by if you want some company.
Enjoy your jell-o
You should have someone bring you something better than jell-o. you do have to push a baby out after all.
This afternoon was bad for company but tomorrow may be better, I’ll keep everyone posted! (Ideally tomorrow will be bad because I get to have a baby, but if things go as predicted that won’t be the case–I’ll know more later.)
I’m not allowed anything better than Jello. It makes me sad. After baby I’m pigging out on something good…
Thinking of you!
If you need anything….feed the cats….ride….whatever 304-216-7234
Come on baby Kelley!!!
If you need anything just let us know. Or if you just want some company. I’m right across the the parking lot.
Oh my god, baby coming! Be well! I love you and the Girl! ♥
