At first he didn’t have a name at all, and then he was referenced as “Rudolph” in the credits, and then finally he was called “Gossamer” by Marvin the Martian, a name that seems to have stuck since, well, he was anything but. This big hairy orange monster is a favorite for fans of the Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies cartoons, even though he only appears in three of the old shorts.
For as long as it remains up on YouTube here’s the second of the shorts the monster can be found in, “Water, Water Every Hare.”
It’s been a while coming, which hopefully means they did their testing and it’s going to be good, but gDiapers is now offering their own cloth inserts for the gDiaper covers. I’ve been starting to try cloth again now that Lana is bigger (and it’s worked out pretty well the few times I’ve done it) so I had been thinking about retrying the gDiapers. If they seem to be working out well I’ll probably order the cloth inserts to try. (Bet those cloth inserts will work well inside the Thirsties covers as well!)
Of course, if they do work well I’ll probably have to order another color of the little gPants. They’ve come out with a several new colors.
So coming soon will be my second attempt at using gDiapers (using what I already have) and if they seem to be working well with Lana’s bigger body, I’ll be trying their version of cloth!
Penny is the love interest from Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog. She is a kind and altruistic person who volunteers at a homeless shelter. We expect throughout the story that she will play a role in changing Billy’s (Dr. Horrible’s) life. And in that we’re not disappointed.
I will also note that the actress who plays Penny, Felicia Day, does actually have red hair.
So if you go watch a video on the Giant Eagle website, your advantage card will be loaded with $15 off groceries ($5 off each of your next three trips in the next 90 days). You need to give them an email address and the 12 digit number off your advantage card.
They get to advertise all their “perks” to you, and you get an extra $15 off groceries, not a bad deal.
Not long ago I watched a video on there and got 5% foodperks added to my card, so they’re clearly running a series of incentivized videos, keep an eye out!
_______
Edited to add: Here’s another link on the Giant Eagle site to get you $2 off your next order (same deal as above, you need to enter your email and your card number). If you watch both videos it sounds like the $2 might come off your card first on your next visit, then after that you’ll get your $5 off from the above video – though for some people they’re getting both discounts at once.
And here’s the link to the 5% foodperks video. Again, loaded to your card and expires in 90 days, so get it and plan to use it soon. (Make sure you live in a region where you have foodperks before you watch this, as you may be wasting your discount otherwise.)
