Only 11 days until Lana turns one! We had gotten her a crib around the six month mark (a Sniglar crib from Ikea, which if anyone is thinking of getting it is a good solid very basic put together crib with no drop-side, and the cheapest one you’ll find). She seemed to like it well enough, despite the lack of smile in the photo.
Wow, only 12 days until Lana turns one year old! It’s so hard to believe! This picture is another from that time that seemed to stretch forever, before Lana could really crawl (though she could roll and scoot from very early on) and couldn’t really sit up, so it seemed like it would be rough to entertain her (though really, she was probably happy with watching us do lots of things). This baby gym served its purpose well – look at that happy face!
There are 13 days left in our 25 day countdown to Lana’s first birthday! One of the great consistent outings of the summer was getting to take Lana to Sean’s softball games. The team color is prison jumpsuit orange, which is a surprisingly unpopular color for baby clothing, but we managed. Here she is tuckered out post-game.
It’s 14 days until Lana turns 1 year old, and I’m celebrating by nostalgically going through her photos thus far. I thought this little outfit was really cute, though we didn’t have much occasion to have Lana wear it. I propped her up on a pillow to get a shot. She was just over four months old, and it was a dreary rainy day we were going to drag her out into, and I figured it would keep her a little drier…
