Birds in Lego Duplo

One of the things we often make out of Duplos are birds. We’ve made everything from penguins to chocobos, with varying levels of stability.  My duck on legs from Kid K’Nex pieces was less stable than some.  Since you can’t get the same level of precision in Duplos as you can with standard Legos, birds seemed daunting to me at first, but we’ve come up with some good ones.

We had some fun too using pieces from the new Creative Cakes set to make more elaborate wings for the little birds. (Click thumbnails below to embiggen.)
